  • Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)
    Since 1960, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has inspired global change and supported efforts that generated over $1 trillion. AFP's nearly 30,000 individual and organizational members raise over $100 billion annually, equivalent to one-third of all charitable giving in North America and millions more around the world.

  • Christian Community Development Association
    The Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) is a network of Christians committed to seeing people and communities wholistically restored. We believe that God wants to restore us not only to right relationship with Himself but also with our own true selves, our families and our communities. Not just spiritually, but emotionally, physically, economically, and socially. Not by offering mercy alone, but by undergirding mercy with justice.

  • Foodshare Hunger Action Teams (HAT)
    A comprehensive solution to food insecurity requires all hands on deck, which is why Foodshare and a regional network of anti-hunger organizations have begun building a movement of citizens committed to solutions that tackle the root causes of hunger. These efforts include partnering with local government, social service agencies, faith groups, and schools through the creation of Hunger Action Teams (HATs). Hunger Action Teams aim to jumpstart the conversation in order to build each community’s capacity for efficiently and effectively meeting local needs.
  • Hartford Advisory Commission on Food Policy
    The Hartford Advisory Commission on Food Policy was established by City ordinance in 1991 to implement recommendations from the Mayor’s Task Force on Hunger. Continuously operational since then, its purpose is to integrate all City agencies in a common effort to improve the availability of safe and nutritious food at reasonable prices for all Hartford residents, particularly those in need.
