Leaders play an important role in educational and support group settings. When they are equipped with basic knowledge about group processes and key facilitation skills, they are better positioned to lead groups in ways that lead to positive outcomes for participants.

This interactive training, led by Urban Alliance, will equip group leaders to more effectively lead and facilitate various types of groups such as support groups, educational groups, parenting groups, health and wellness groups and Bible studies. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of basic group dynamics, their personal strengths and areas for growth as leaders, and key facilitation skills. They will also leave with strategies for managing challenging group participants and situations.
