Training Equips Local Basic Needs Programs to Connect People to Needed Services
On November 17, representatives from Glory Chapel International Cathedral, Youth Challenge of CT, Kainos Life Ministries, Mustard Seed Outreach Center, and Cornerstone Foundation participated in a Beyond the Basics community resource center training.
Participants learned about programs and services that may benefit people who are struggling to meet their basic needs, and strategies for effectively making referrals to these programs. At the end of the training, participants were able to practice setting up their resource centers and making referrals.
