On December 5, representative from 5 churches and organizations in the UA network gathered for a combined Thrive and Revitalize learning community meeting.

Dr. Nancy Trout and Stacy Chandna from Kohl’s Start Childhood Off Right (SCOR) program at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center  facilitated a workshop about the importance of early infant and child nutrition.

Program leaders learned how to help caregivers implement healthy nutritional practices at home to promote healthy development in their children and strategies on how to decrease infant/child obesity.
