Charis Peer Consultation Group Helps Increase Quality of Care Services
Over the last year, 18 Christian counselors from 10 churches and parachurch organizations met regularly for the Charis peer consultation group, a safe space where they are able to build relationships with one another, sharpen their clinical skills, and explore way to integrate Christian faith-based principles into their work with clients. By doing so, people who are seeking support from these counselors receive higher quality services. Counselors also had the opportunity to participate in continuing education opportunities on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
