Offering Referrals to Community Resources During COVID-19

COVID-19 has intensified existing needs and created new ones for CT residents. This workshop will provide information about common needs and available supportive programming. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the current landscape and information about how to help connect people to services.

Outdoor Quarterly Prayer Gathering

Join us for a time of in-person prayer in the UA parking lot. This gathering will provide leaders with an opportunity to come together and pray for one another, their programs and the community. Come expecting to be blessed and refreshed by this time of unified prayer.
Motivational Interviewing Overview

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative and strength-based approach designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal, by drawing out and exploring a person’s own reasons for change. This interactive training will provide an overview of MI as well as opportunities to practice MI techniques. This training is ideal for anyone who offers or would like to offer one-on-one support or coaching.
Virtual Coaching and Case Management Basics Training

Now more than ever there is a need in our community for virtual support that helps people set and achieve goals and connect to needed community programs! This training covers best practices and foundational skills for coaches and case managers to use when helping people during COVID-19. This training is ideal for programs that provide one-on-one support to people on a regular basis as well as staff and/or volunteers who are new to offering coaching or case management.
