Mission

Families United Serving and Embracing (FUSE) is a 501(c)(3) Christ centered mission established to educate and encourage faith communities to defend vulnerable children which includes the pre-born. Their mission is to provide a platform that encourages families to share their gifts, talents, resources, faith and community to the fatherless.

Programs

  • Nehemiah House

Nehemiah House is a healthy family home environment, where young, expectant, unwed mothers can experience guidance, protection, hope and the Love of Christ during their pregnancy and permanently. In a rural setting, young ladies can experience the beauty of God’s creation and know that they are valued and that God has provided a way for them to experience His love and compassion with-out judgment or shame. Residents are provided housing up to their baby's first birthday, connection to resources, discipleship and opportunities to learn valuable life skills.

FUSE has trained Community Resource Coaches who offer case management services to the people they serve. Community Resource Coaches help encourage positive changes in people served through relational support and may meet one-on-one with people to motivate them to set goals and connect to appropriate resources.

  • Wellspring Freedom Homes

Wellspring Freedom Homes are Connecticut's first emergency safe homes for survivors of sex trafficking in the Greater Hartford area with an initial seven to 21 day period of stabilization and assessment. Through this program, rescued women have access to rooms, food and clothing at no charge for a short-term duration. Supportive and compassionate volunteers and coaches assist survivors of sex trafficking in linking to community resources, therapeutic services and counseling, spiritual inner healing and housing.
