Mission

Church Army USA’s mission is "to raise up evangelists to proclaim the gospel to the least, the last and the lost and to draw them into the life and mission of the church. We are focused on multi-generational mission so as to disciple the next generation in the ways of Christ's compassion from the earliest point possible."

Programs

• The Street Church

  The Street Church provides free food and clothing, as well as prayer and pastoral counseling, for community members in downtown Hartford on Saturdays from 11:30am-1:00pm in front of City Hall and on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:00-1:30pm in front of the Hartford Public Library. Church Army USA has also received training and supplies to offer a Beyond the Basics Community Resource Center through their Street Church program. Community Resource Centers help programs connect people to local services and resources that match their specific needs.

• Revitalize Community Health Outreach

  Church Army USA helps connect Hartford residents to resources through the Revitalize Community Health Outreach by distributing bags that contain information about free and low-cost local health services and incentives to work towards health and wellness.

• Church Army USA West

  Church Army USA West is an outreach ministry of Church Army USA that reaches the Plainville community and surrounding areas. The program provides one-on-one mentoring, discipleship and lay care through three monthly community groups. Church Army USA West also organizes outreach events to provide basic needs to the homeless and other people in need.
