More than 300 people made their way through the immersive, interactive displays that filled the room at U-Nite. With event passports in hand, guests experienced the impact of each Urban Alliance initiative and how UA’s unique approach enables local churches and ministry organizations to evaluate and enhance their program culture, community connections and core programming. They met the people who run the dozens of programs that are helping tens of thousands of people in our local community each year, and they stepped into the shoes of people who benefit from the comprehensive support we provide to those programs that are run by churches and ministry organizations.

“What my wife and I were most struck with was the clarity of purpose of each and every participating organization. The hands-on experience provided a depth of understanding that we would likely have missed had the event been structured differently,” shared Robert Fortgang.

When they weren’t engaged in an Urban Alliance initiative-based activity, like browsing a healthy client-choice food pantry, packing a health resource bag, learning about healthy parent-child relationships, conversing with a professional Christian counselor, or packing school supplies for local youth, guests networked with one another and made meaningful connections.

“We actually had time to meet other people,” explained Logan Singerman. “That doesn’t normally happen at other events. I left there with at least five meaningful connections. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and feel like that was the best informational/networking organizational event I’ve ever been to.”

The event left guests with a spirit of inspiration and celebration for the work that is being done to help people in our local community experience hope, help and positive transformation in their lives.

Thank you to all who attended and to the volunteers and ministry leaders who made U-Nite: Experience the Impact a success!
