U-Nite 2019: An Evening of Connection and Inspiration

Together we make a greater impact.

At the third annual U-Nite, hundreds of people gathered at Upward Hartford to celebrate this exciting truth and the work being done to help people achieve lasting change in their lives through the UA network.

As guests connected with familiar faces and made new acquaintances, they enjoyed a delicious array of food from Harvest Bakery and Cafe. Live latin jazz music by Sam Rodriguez and Willy Perez of House of Restoration Church and Jose Avila of New Dimension Christian Center filled the room as the event exuded an upbeat and unifying vibe that mirrored the smiles on many faces.

After a brief welcome from Urban Alliance's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Russell Jarvis, guest speaker Romanita Hairston of Microsoft, Murdock Charitable Trust and MORE320 captivated the room with her message on the power of unity.

Pastor Ranford Lilly of Faith Ministries Church, Rev. Bryan Bywater of Church Army USA and Rosa McGuire of Urban Alliance and New Dimension Christian Center led a heartfelt time of prayer, followed by worship led by Dan Heermance of Valley Brook Community Church, Jaleith Gary of Urban Alliance and Calvary Fellowship, and Willy Perez of House of Restoration Church.

The event proved to be a memorable night of connection and inspiration. A special thank you to the many volunteers who contributed to a successful evening.
