Connecting Over Good Food, For a Good Cause

Article and photo by Urban Alliance staff.

Thank You for Getting Stuffed for Good! It may have been rainy, cloudy for most of the day, but that didn’t stop more than 80 of you from coming out to our third annual "Get Stuffed for Good" at Blue Plate Kitchen! It was encouraging to see familiar faces and make new friends, all while dining for a cause.

Because of you, we were able to mobilize over $600 to help churches and ministry organizations reach and serve people who are lacking food, clothing or housing so they meet their basic needs and gain greater stability in their lives!

If you’d like to learn more about what we do that through Beyond the Basics, get involved as a volunteer or make an impact as a donor, please contact Jaleith Gary, UA’s Director of Philanthropy at jaleith.gary@urbanalliance.com or 860.986.6051.
