On Saturday, May 28, the UAServe Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED workshop provided participants with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive.
“Each of the attendees was excited about the opportunity to save lives,” shared Rosa McGuire, Urban Alliance’s Volunteer Manager, “They left feeling confident and better equipped to respond to any emergency situation. There is nothing more rewarding and fulfilling than to know you have played a significant role in saving a life!”
