Courant News: House of Praise and Worship & Wintonbury Church
Recently, two stories about UA Network Participants made it into the Hartford Courant. The first is a story about House of Praise and Worship and their Toy for Tots toy distribution. The article is called “Mastering the Art of Sacrificial Giving,” and it was submitted to the iTowns section by Urban Alliance. The article was printed in the iTowns section of the Hartford Courant on Sunday, January 22, 2012. The second is a story about a member of Wintonbury Church, Louise Douglas. The article was written by Courant columnist, Susan Campbell; it’s entitled, “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: A Hartford Grandmother Talks About Her Challenges.” The story is about how Louise Douglas raised her granddaughters, and Douglas references the difficulties in doing such and the support that she got from Wintonbury Church.
