African American Leaders for Life Summit
The “African American Leaders for Life Summit” will be on May 24-25, 2012. UA is working with Care Net national, The First Cathedral, the Citadel of Love, and others to bring together over 100 Christian leaders from Central CT to learn more about the issues and how to get involved in developing and supporting a Care Net pregnancy resource center right here in Hartford.
The Hartford Pregnancy Resource Center will offer hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies by providing abortion alternatives and pregnancy support services, including practical help and emotional support. Free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, information and counseling, parenting classes, and material assistance are just some of the many services offered that empower women to choose life. The center’s staff and volunteers seek to provide compassion, support, and Christ’s love to every woman who walks in the door.
