Mission
Coram Deo is "a Christ-centered organization ministering the love of God through the provision of transitional living/supportive housing programs and services to people of all ethnicities, races and socioeconomic backgrounds."
PROGRAMS & MINISTRIES
Housing
Coram Deo provides safe, structured, sober housing for women struggling with addiction and abuse. Their goal is to "provide excellence in housing which increases dignity and self esteem; thereby allowing hope to infiltrate and change occur."
Case Management
Coram Deo provides case management to help connect clients with services available to them in the community. They give referrals and resources to clients as needed for physical, mental, and emotional needs, as well as, substance abuse services, legal services, insurance, food stamps, and more. In this capacity, their goal is to make each client aware of the varied resources available to them to help them achieve their goals of independence and stability.
Road to Recovery
Coram Deo provides transportation to medical appointments, court, childrens visits and other necessary places, when alternatives cannot be found. Clients are encouraged to do the actual driving of the organization's vehicle. This promotes responsibility, a sense of honor, independence, and creates positive healthy attitudes and thinking.
Foodshare
Coram Deo operates a food pantry, which serves women who are in or who have graduated from their program. The pantry provides supplemental food for women whose resources can't quite make it to the end of the month.
