PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Awana
Awana reaches boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ and trains them to serve him. Calvary's well established Awana program is used to reach out to children in their community.
Life Transforming Small Groups
Calvary offers a variety of Life Transforming Small Groups to help people become better connected within the fellowship and to foster spiritual growth. These small groups gather together on different days and times weekly for approximately one and a half hours and cover a variety of Christian topics/studies.
West Hartford Food Pantry
Calvary is regularly involved in supporting and giving towards the West Hartford Food Pantry.
Renew Counseling Associates
This counseling firm has a satellite office at Calvary Church. The counseling provided is a safe, non-judgemental place where people can be cared for, and where people's needs have top priority. The counselor specializes in individual, couples, sex, family, and teen therapy. The therapy is discreet and confidential.
Annual
Missions Trip
Calvary is committed to at least one yearly missions trip. Recently, they have served African refugees here in the US and Mohawk Native Americans.
VBS
Every summer, Calvary runs a Vacation Bible School for children in the church and in their neighborhood.
Operation Christmas Child
Calvary supports and encourages involvement in Operation Christmas Child, a program of the Samaritan's Purse.
